Cornelia Hesse-Honegger
Scientific illustrator and artist Cornelia Hesse-Honegger has collected over 16,000 insects near nuclear plants and fallout sites. Her watercolor series, Fallout Alarms, captures those insects affected by low-level radiation. The malformations become eerily beautiful albeit in a disturbing way.

Alex Coppel
Captured at the South Coast of New South Wales in Australia by photographer Alex Coppel, this National Geographic photo of the day makes me wish I knew how to swim. It also makes me wish I liked the beach.

Florentijn Hofman
Rubber Duck, a giant floating sculpture from Dutch designer Florentijn Hofman is now docked at Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. It’s big, delightful and full of joy. I can’t help, but smile.

Since I have an odd sense of humor and I don’t care much for watching women profess their low self-esteem, watch #Balls, a hilarious parody of Dove’s Real Beauty Sketches. It is essentially the same commercial except someone got paid to draw balls. Huh, everyone’s got a skill.
